Greetings and welcome to the Bachelor-Benedict Community Foundation (BBCF) website.

The BBCF was established in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable corporation that has as its purpose to provide scholarships to qualified students and to invest in youth programs with proven outcomes.

The BBCF, serves as the philanthropic arm of the Bachelor-Benedict Club, Inc. With the support of the Club members, the foundation has established itself as an important advocate for scholarship and community programs in Washington, D.C. and the metropolitan area.

The Mission of the BBCF is to identify and invest in young people for scholarship opportunities and support the less fortunate in our community. The foundation initiatives include providing financial support for families with food insecurities by contributing to the Metropolitan Food Bank and participating in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The fundraising initiatives include The BBCF Golf Tournament and the signature event the Annual Preakness Scholarship Brunch.

Sincerely,
Anthony B. Hill, President

Young Men Arriving at School

Did you know?

Poverty has long lasting effects on the physical, mental, social, and educational development of Black youth. Between the effects of nutritional deficiency, the lack of adequate housing and the social and educational obstacles that systemically deter achievement, it can be difficult to be fully prepared for higher education.

The Bachelor-Benedict Community Foundation seeks to combat those challenging issues by giving minority youth a fighting chance in a world that often leaves them far behind.

Whether it’s giving $5 or $5000, 5 minutes or 5 weeks, know that you are helping make a difference in the lives of at-risk minority youth in our Washington Metropolitan Area with your charitable gestures. Our goal is to fund college scholarships and post graduation shadowing opportunities for the Class of 2024.
