The Annual Meeting for 2019 has been scheduled for December 5, 2019 at the Sphinx Club in Washington, DC.
The Agenda will include the following:
The Treasurer’s Report
Select Committee Reports
An Overview of the plans for celebrating our 110th Anniversary at the Red Sash Ball
A Report on the activities of the Bachelor-Benedict Community Foundation, Inc.
The Election of Officers for 2020
Other Business Reports and Discussions as appropriate
At the personnel committee meeting last week, it was proposed that the club strive hard to bring the membership up to 110 members and for 1100 people to attend the Red Sash Ball as part of the way we celebrate our 110th anniversary. In order for this to happen, our members, old and new, should try and recruit one (1) person each. Our current membership is at 79. We would love to have our maximum membership with others waiting for a vacancy. In addition to friends and relatives, reach out to former members who might consider requesting reinstatement and joining us in celebrating our 110th. New and reinstated members will pay the $1,000 membership fee, a $50 administrative processing fee, and a one-time charge of $150 to go to the 110th year celebration. Applications for new membership and reinstatement should be sent to our Treasurer, Ira Carr. Members should sign the application before it goes to Ira.
A formal agenda and other details will be sent out shortly. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can get a good head count.
I look forward to seeing everyone in three weeks at the Red Sash Ball.
Jim Collins,
President
