The Initiation Ball is the first event held by the Bachelor-Benedict Club each fiscal year. Usually held in March or April, attendance at this formal affair is limited to members and their spouse or significant other. The members are required to wear their lapel pin or the medallion as evidence of their membership. This is the only “closed” affair of the social year.
During this occasion the newly elected officers and new members are introduced to the membership. Newly inducted members are presented with their medallions and receive their Bachelor Benedict pin which is pinned on by their respective sponsor.
The Initiation Ball is an opportunity for new members to meet the entire membership and begin the journey of being a Bachelor Benedict Brother.
